My Approach to Therapy:
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinical social worker with experience in crisis intervention, outpatient care, and community settings. I obtained my MSW from Westfield State University, School of Social Work, with a specialization in Latinx Community Health. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with clients facing a variety of challenges, including trauma, domestic and sexual violence, immigration/relocation/ acculturation, as well as parent-child conflict.
I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive space for clients of all backgrounds and ages while they navigate these complexities. My approach is deeply relational and holistic. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Attachment, Regulation, Competency (ARC), and AWBW Art Therapy. I utilize a combination of techniques and theoretical frameworks, but view therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to determine the most effective approach.
