My Approach to Therapy:
As a therapist, I believe in building a therapeutic relationship that is both safe and relaxing. Therapy is a journey, and it is your journey; you are the expert of your own life; as a therapist, I want to walk beside you, not ahead nor behind. It is a pleasure to be allowed into your world, and I handle that with the utmost care.
I practice from an eclectic approach with the awareness that every individual, couple, and family needs are exclusive. Some frameworks I draw from are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Narrative therapy, Collaborative therapy, conflict resolution therapy, and Emotion-Focused (EFT). I enjoy engaging in mindfulness and creating a Zen mood. My experience is diverse as I have worked with all ages in multiple settings.
