My Approach to Therapy:

I specialize in helping women of color heal by teaching them how to release their Strong or Superwoman identity and prioritize their spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental health. I also integrate my decade of experience as a former school counselor to help caregiver(s) improve their communication and relationship with their children. The women I serve need help addressing one or more of the following issue(s): anger, anxiety, complex trauma, depression, disordered eating habits, life transitions, low self-worth, inner critic, people-pleasing tendencies, perfectionism, toxic or unhealthy relationships, and work-related stressors.

I use a relational, cultural approach to help my clients transform their mindset. We work to address their traumas, dis-connections, and any other factors that contribute to negative thinking patterns & low self-worth. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused Therapy, and nutrition coaching to help my clients improve their connection to food, themselves, and others. As a nutrition coach, I enjoy teaching clients how to prioritize rest, healthy eating, and intentional movement as catalysts for true healing.
