My Approach to Therapy:

Do you have trouble loving and accepting yourself? Do you find it hard to feel a sense of belonging and connection with others? Therapy can help you to feel better about yourself, to feel freer to be your authentic self, and to form healthy attachments. I enjoy helping people who are experiencing:
*Marginalization, oppression, exclusion
*Conflict between gender/sexual identity and spiritual/religious beliefs
*Breakups (including friendship breakups)
*Difficult relationships that trigger shame
*Chronic low self-esteem.
I believe that behind all feelings and behaviors are stories which make sense. In therapy, you have the chance to give voice to your story, understand and accept yourself more, and grow toward a life of thriving. My style is collaborative and relational, with a goal of walking with you as you unlearn toxic narratives and experience your value and strength. Connections are healing, including in therapy, so finding a good fit matters.
