My Approach to Therapy:
Realizing your own potential to cope with stressors, managing the everydayness of life and being in an emotionally healthy place is a state of optimal mental well-being. I’m here to collaborate with you and help you to improve life quality and achieve mental well-being. Therapy with me is strengths-based, nonjudgmental and evidence based. I am authentic and engaged. I work with clients from a culturally responsive, social justice lens to address the concerns most important to you. I believe that you will always be the expert on you and my job is to help you find what you need in this season of life, within you. Our work may include depression, interpersonal conflict, work/life balance, identity, career conflicts, trauma, race-related stress/racial trauma to name a few. Therapy is work, but we will do the work together.
