My clinical practice is based in trauma-informed and individualized care. I believe in the importance of exploring how race, culture, gender identity and socio-economic status impact our mental health. It is my belief that quality clinical care looks at the individual from a holistic perspective. I utilize Trauma-Informed treatment in all aspects of my clinical practice. Together we will work on navigating traumatic wounds in a way that allows you to feel empowered, safe, and equipped with the necessary coping tools to having a fulfilling life. This treatment approach can consist of psycho-education on the impact of trauma, utilizing psychodynamic approaches, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Narrative therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
