My Approach to Therapy:

As a therapist of color, I understand the unique challenges and systemic barriers that people of color face. My practice is grounded in cultural competence, and I strive to create a safe, affirming space where clients can explore their identities and experiences without judgment. I have extensive experience in trauma-informed care, helping clients navigate and heal from past traumas. Whether you’ve experienced physical, emotional, or psychological trauma, we will work together to build resilience and restore a sense of safety and control. I also help people struggling with anxiety and depression. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, I help clients develop effective strategies to manage symptoms and improve their overall quality of life. My approach is integrative and client-centered, meaning that I tailor my methods to fit your unique needs and goals. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship, where empathy, trust, and collaboration are at the core. Together, we will create a personalized plan that supports your growth and healing. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to wellness.
