My Approach to Therapy:

As a biracial, Black, transgender femme survivor on my own emotional wellness journey, I know that we are all multifaceted, so I integrate multiple therapeutic approaches in order to honor the unique strengths, concerns, and preferences of each person with whom I work. I’m a fully-licensed clinical social worker (LMSW-C) trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy (through Level 2), and am currently studying Sensorimotor Psychotherapy & Polyvagal Theory. I am committed to helping my clients feel safe in their bodies, confident in their identities, and empowered in the world. I’m also a Detroit-based community organizer with over 15 years’ experience working alongside QTPOC youth, sex workers, and OG Black Panthers to fight for the world our people deserve. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my fam (two nonbinary loves and a pitbull pup), basking outside, and making art (I’m a writer, a reader, a photographer, and a violinist).
